Photo Search
Photo Search allows customers to find products by sending an image.
How It Works
- Customer sends a photo in chat (e.g., a screenshot from social media)
- AI analyzes the image using visual recognition
- AI searches your product catalog for similar items
- Matching products are presented to the customer
Example Conversation
Customer: [Sends photo of a red handbag]
AI: "I found some similar bags in our collection! Here are the closest matches:" [Shows product carousel with matching items]
Requirements
- Photo Search is automatically enabled when you have products
- Works best with clear, well-lit product photos in your catalog
- Supports common image formats (JPG, PNG, WebP)
Upload multiple angles of each product to improve Photo Search accuracy.
How Products Work with AI
Your product catalog integrates with AI agents to provide shopping assistance.
Product Search Tool
AI agents can search your catalog based on customer requests:
- By name or keywords
- By price range
- By category or type
- By visual similarity (Photo Search)
Product Recommendations
During conversations, AI can:
- Suggest relevant products based on customer needs
- Compare products and explain differences
- Provide pricing and availability information
- Send product carousels on WhatsApp
Product Carousels
On WhatsApp, AI can send interactive product cards:
- Product image
- Name and price
- "View" button for details
- Customers can swipe through multiple products
Example Interaction
Customer: "I'm looking for a gift under $50"
AI: "I'd be happy to help! What type of gift are you looking for? We have jewelry, accessories, and home décor in that price range."
Customer: "Something for my mom, she likes jewelry"
AI: "Here are our most popular jewelry items under $50:" [Sends carousel with necklaces, bracelets, and earrings]
Product Sources
Products can come from three sources:
| Source | Description |
|---|---|
