Agent Knowledge Base
The Knowledge Base page lets you manage which knowledge sources your AI agent can access to answer customer questions.
Accessing Agent Knowledge Base
- Go to Agents in the sidebar
- Click on the agent you want to configure
- Click the Knowledge Base tab
How It Works
By default, a new agent doesn't have access to any knowledge sources. You need to explicitly assign knowledge to give your agent the information it needs.
The page has two tabs:
| Tab | Description |
|---|---|
| Agent's Knowledge | Knowledge sources currently assigned to this agent |
| Available Knowledge | All knowledge sources you've created that can be assigned |
Assigning Knowledge to Your Agent
- Click the Available Knowledge tab
- Browse your available knowledge sources
- Click Assign to Agent on the knowledge source you want to add
The knowledge source will now appear in the "Agent's Knowledge" tab, and your agent can use it to answer questions.
Removing Knowledge from Your Agent
- Click the Available Knowledge tab
- Find the knowledge source you want to remove
- Click Remove from Agent
The agent will no longer have access to that knowledge source.
Don't Have Any Knowledge Sources?
If the "Available Knowledge" tab is empty, you need to create knowledge sources first.
