Chat Search
Orki provides two search features to help you find messages: Global Search for searching across all conversations, and In-Chat Search for searching within a specific chat.
Global Search (Ctrl+K / Cmd+K)
Global Search lets you search across ALL messages in all chats from anywhere in Orki.
How to Use
- Press Ctrl+K (Windows/Linux) or Cmd+K (macOS) from anywhere in Orki
- A search dialog overlay appears
- Type your search query (minimum 2 characters)
- Results appear grouped by customer
Search Results
Each result shows:
- Customer name — who the conversation is with
- Message preview — the matched message text
- Timestamp — when the message was sent
Click any result to jump directly to that message in the conversation.
Pagination
Results load 20 at a time. Scroll down to load more results as needed.
Use Ctrl+K / Cmd+K from anywhere in Orki to quickly find past conversations — no need to navigate to the Chats page first.
In-Chat Search
In-Chat Search lets you search within the conversation you're currently viewing.
How to Use
- Open a chat from the Unified Inbox
- Click the search icon in the chat header
- Type your search query (minimum 2 characters)
- Matched messages are highlighted in the conversation
Navigating Matches
Use the up/down arrows to jump between matched messages within the chat. This makes it easy to review all occurrences of your search term in a long conversation.
